Career Success of Managers: the Malaysian Experience Roziah Mohd Rasdi

This book discovers the experiences of Malaysian managers' career success. Based on a local study, the author conceptualized career success as having both objective and subjective components. The book reveals that managers' objective and subjective career success were explained by different facets of variables. The differential career experiences of men and women as well as high and low managerial level managers were also explored to further understanding the phenomenon of managers' career success. Several publications have been published from this Doctoral degree research. A paper received "Best Paper Award" at the 8th International Conference of the Academy of Human Resource Development, held in Bahrain on December 2009.
