Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system plays a pivotal role in the growth of an organization by fostering the decision making process, by making the right information available to the right people at a right time. Growth of start-up companies are often plagued by unavailability of information at the right time to make decisions. This is essentially due to lack of standardization of core business process (a precursor for building ERP system). In addition to this, building channels for collecting, analyzing and retrieving data at various levels in the organization and identifying cost-effective technology also heralds in building a powerful ERP system. This book gives insights on standardization of core business processes and designing ERP system for a company called "Rural Opportunities Production Enterprise" (ROPE) using "Tiny ERP" (an open source platform).
