Gottes- Oder Menschenwahn ?
Rudolf J. Stiegelmeyr
"The God or the Man Delusion? - Christianity between traditional ecclesiastic infallibility and pluralistic arbitrariness"
In this second volume "Gospel: historic demand and today's reality" the author draws the necessary conclusions from the errors of tradition and doctrine illustrated and exemplified in volume one ("Apostle + Ministry = Church of Christ?"). Starting from such a tidying up of the caverns of tradition and the emptying of the dogmatic closets of ecclesio-systemic apologetics, Rudolf J. Stiegelmeyr searches for the genuine Christian approach, a vantage point only from which the diversifying unity as well as unifying diversity of the spirit of origin will succeed. This, however, presupposes a complete turn-around of the social, political and economic thinking and acting, a turn-around without which the acceptance of the Gospel 'handicap' - truth, justice and righteousness - will not be possible.
For the church this turn-around will inevitably mean a most dramatic demand to her widely squandered credibility, where, if she does not succeed in regaining her lost identity, she is going to drown in the swamp of ideological trendyism or dump herself into the more or less esoteric niche importance of quixotic grumblers. Thus for the church all that matters here and now is an overall substantiation of her demand on faith including the contents with which she filled it, a true renaissance of the ecclesiastically doctored Gospel, in order to unmask the trendy injustice and truthlessness as the largest possible God-distance. Only then will church be able to trigger off and further on promote a substantial rethinking within the walls of her sovereignty and subsequentlly also in society. Here at the latest the reader will realize: there is not much time left.
