Shorttitle the book is based on the first time report of the occurence of Hotsprings of Northeastern Part of India considred to be the biodiversity hotspot. the hotsprings of this region were never been focussed. Isolation and screening of the microbial strains from the diverse ecological niches of this region may lead to the isolation of the novel lipase producing strains. Hence an effort has been made through this study to isolate and screen microbial strains from the soil samples collected from the hot springs of Arunachal Pradesh, India for lipolytic activity.
