As the health industry enters the new millennium, fast changing demographics are compelling health service delivery system to make dramatic changes in their diagnostic delivery infrastructure. A reducing ratio of servicing professionals to the population, an increasing percentage of the elderly group and surging lifestyle related diseases are also driving the need for more real world measurement of key health indicators.
