The Psychoneuroendocrine Adrenergic Type: Investigations at Biomolecular Level
Andreea Letitia Arsene
The individuality cell status, immune, genetic, raised many questions, over time, and opened new researches on human polytypism. Thus, under the action of identical factors, physical and emotional, the human beings develop different physiological, behavioral and emotional answers. This phenomenon was called polytypism. The phenomenon was inferred by Rosenman RH who described, for the first time, the adrenergic behavioral type (A). Lately there was identified and described the opioid and serotoninergic types. Although known and described almost thirty years ago, the A type still remains a controversial research topic, with certain characteristics that predispose it to the development of the cardiovascular diseases, post- stress depressive syndrome, bipolar disease. The present work brings biomolecular evidence for the pathology associated with the A type. There was investigated the status of the psychoneuroendocrine A typology in relation with the adrenergic signaling system, dopaminergic, serotoninergic, GABAergic, melatoninergic, with the monoaminoxidase enzyme system and with the cellular oxidative stress.
