Light Extraction Methods from Gan Material: Gan Microcavity and Uv Light Enhancement Zainuriah Hassan

In this book, Transfer matrix method theory of the DBR optical multilayer and calculation on reflectivity and transmissivity will be presented. Using Matlab programs to simulate and analize of the microcavity for UV Light enhancement and study the effects of variation of certain parameters on DBR efficiency. The fabrication microcavity and measurement light extraction results of the active medium( GaN, AlGaN), the dielectric DBR and metal (Ag, Al) mirrors have been studied. Appendix contents all the programs code in MATLAB technical langue ( program displays the emission pattern for different (number of layers, incident angles, wavelengths), program calculates the phase of a DBR stack (Dielectric and semiconductor), program calculates the brewster angle for GaN_Air inerface and GaN_Sapphire interface with different external medium, program calculates the ellipsometry parameters
