Domestic violence is a family problem which directly affects women?s rights. It also give impacts the economic system and society as a whole. It is interesting to know the role of the State in responding to this issue. The State?s Responsibility in Addressing Domestic Violence: A Case Study of Thailand elaborates on domestic violence in Thailand. It depicts civil society?s concern on serveral issues related on domestic violence as well as its role in solving and asking the State to address the problem. Also, this research presents a process for the Thai government and other State?s agencies to address domestic violence.
