This study examines how stakeholders perceive the effectiveness of the Learning Support Unit (LSU) for learning disabled students throughout their general education at an international school in Bahrain. The effectiveness of the program examines the school's mission statement, and the extent of its alignment with the LSU objective. The study focuses on leadership and academic excellence, home school connections, and provision for a healthy secure learning environment. Teachers, administrators, and parents are interviewed, and are asked to fill questionnaires about academic excellence and leadership. Subsequently, several recommendations are made on communication and professional development. Further, parents are given the opportunity to attend workshops in order to play an active role in their children's education.
