Educational institutions have an important role to play in educating graduates to be globally aware. This research on students' experiences of internationalization provides important feedback about how students respond to intercultural experiences within a university context. Students' descriptions of how their intercultural learning informs their identities and understandings of national and global citizenship reveal valuable insights for universities as they delve more deeply into the complexities of how students can be best prepared as interculturally knowledgeable citizens.
