This book is centered on the impact of maintenance management in the sustainability of gas turbine power systems in achieving high production capabilities, equipment availability and reliability. This study is relevant for the provision of development in the nation?s power supply system, and to ensure its effective energy delivery through the provision of continuous power supply of electricity for businesses, homes, industries and towards a better future. The objective is to determine how optimum maintenance management techniques, when employed for gas turbine power plant stations would adequately satisfy the growing demand for electricity and also reduce downtime whilst achieving high production capabilities. Power plant maintenance requires three resources: manpower, materials and equipment. These resources are crucial component of maintenance management; therefore, the focus of this study is to present how these indices ultimately determines optimum availability needed to facilitate investment net-worth. Finally, the book focuses on organisational profitability, system optimization and strategic management as a means of ensuring power stations are our new profit-centers.
