The Japanese Quail: Evaluating Phenotypic and Genetic Parameters Sylvester Daikwo

The study evaluated the performance of Japanese quails under standard management conditions with a view to providing their basic production and genetic characteristics; and identifying their potentials for improvement in egg and meat production. The growth, carcass, reproduction, egg production and egg quality traits of Japanese were examined and analysed. The genetic and phenotypic parameters of these traits were also provided.
