Zeolites are microporous crystalline materials essentially formed from corner sharing SiO4 and TO4 (T= Al, Ga, B, Ti, etc.,) tetrahedra and owing to their structural features these materials find wide range of commercial uses such as adsorbents, ion exchangers, and catalysts. The broad range of applications has attracted significant interest in microscopic and macroscopic aspects of the sorption and chemical transformations in this class of catalysts. So it is obligatory to have the structural knowledge of these materials in hydrated and dehydrated state in order to better understand the performance of these materials. The understanding of the structural behavior of these materials upon heating is of great importance, because only in the dehydrated state and under operating conditions (high temperature), the molecular sieve effects are observed.
