Research in developing countries,like India has not till date been made as a prime concern. Public health research is one area where the country and the government needs to focus a lot. This book contains 5 studies, of wide public health interest. Post menopausal symptoms are the most common problems elderly ladies suffer. Disabled people constitute a group of largest minority people who usually do not have ready access to the social welfare measures. Vector borne diseases are an important public health threat not only in India but other developing countries. Public private partnership at least in the developing countries like India is the major need of the hour. Newer vaccines like H1N1 are also used worldwide as a prophylaxis for health care professionals. New Public Health projects like 'Integrated Disease Surveillance Project' have been implemented in India. In a way this book will act as an important resource for planning future studies on major public health issues for planners, managers, researchers, coordinators, disabled, and the scientific community as well.
