Evaluation of Native Pasture and Appraisal of Feed Resources, Ethiopia: Results of Three Case Studies Mekonnen Hailemariam

This book has three chapters. In the first, species diversity and certain quality traits of native grassland vegetation under sub humid conditions of western Ethiopia is presented. Mineral status of herbage from native grassland sites of Bako area of Western Ethiopia was assessed in the second chapter. In the third chapter, survey results of livestock production systems of Gurage zone of southern Ethiopia was presented with specific reference to livestock feeding systems. The book contains information that could be used for decision making by development workers and researchers principally in the tropical and subtropical regions.
