Enderta Woreda is located in Tigray National Regional State .the Woreda secured self-rule with the enactment of TNRS constitution in 1998. The Constitution has granted political , administrative and financial authority. the political dimension of authority enabled the Woreda to establish legislative council whose members are directly elected by local community based on universal suffrage. the administrative branch reflected in establishing executive bodies refereed as 'cabinet' chaired by the principal of the Woreda. the financial aspect is signaled in the form of inter-governmental transfer called unrestricted block grant to gather with the right to rise own revenue.
