Prostheses cannot be exact substitute of natural teeth, however if prepared properly based upon some measurable parameters and protocols, then they are not only functionally stable but also biologically and aesthetically viable. This manuscript is an effort to review, compile and explore the hidden truth behind successful prosthodontic care. The subject is very volatile; therefore needs to be divided into different sections. I am hopeful that this drop of blood will be able to help in the completion of painting on the prosthodontic canvas.
