The book attempts to demonstrate the socio-economic impact of the afforestation project on the displaced local people and the adverse implication on the afforested resource in Ethiopia. The book clearly show impoverishment disaster encountered the local community resulted from both the dislocation process and the management approach employed by the project. The study also signifies the negative impact of the protectionist approach on the afforested resource.
