Morphine withdrawal is usually encountered with unsuccessful outcomes and using of alternative substances such as methadone, despite partial benefits and due to the lack of a mental tranquility during the withdrawal period, may not lead to the desired result. In this study morphine itself has been used to management morphine dependence, using an animal model. Forty adult male mice were divided into 5 groups including: independent negative control group, dependent positive control group, dependent group under treatment by increasing intervals of dosage, dependent group under treatment by irregular intervals of dosage and dependent group under treatment by decreasing intervals of dosage. Four groups of five groups (except independent negative control group) became dependent by increasing daily doses of morphine (15-45 mg/kg) for 7 days...
