The findings of this work are very useful for having adequate information about the income level of Agro-pastoralists and pastoraists, integration of the crop and livestock sectors, resource allocation and factors that affect the gross income of households of Afar regional state, Ayssaita and Afambo districts. Given this the information generated are very useful for policy makers and planners at the regional as well as national level.
