Dynamics of Driven Contact Lines: Wetting and Stability of Fluids Shomeek Mukhopadhyay

In this book,we study the dynamics of thin fluid films and drops, driven by external forces, including gravity and surface tension in a variety of situations. The motion of these fluids are investigated on both hard(silicon) and soft(gel) surfaces. We explore a variety of issues related to the propagation of the fluid front and the contact line through a number of experiments along with numerical simulations whenever possible. This book will appeal to the growing community of soft matter scientists.
