Pakistani English manifests certain trends prevalent in the British English and it follows certain other features of American English. Alongwith these observations, it also exhibits some trends entirely different from both varieties of standard Englishes and these features may be termed as features of Pakistani English. This book strengthens the fact Pakistani English is an emerging independent variety of English with features of its own.
