Climate Change has become a global concern and emerging threat to earth's climate and there is now overwhelming scientific consensus that it is happening, and human-induced. Factors that are contributing to climate change; among them aerosols have not yet revealed all of their clear climate-influencing roles and still uncertainties exist. Both natural and human processes contribute to aerosol concentrations but Anthropogenic activities such as transportation, industry, agriculture, burning of gasoline, other fossil fuels and urban land use is the main source of atmospheric aerosols which are tiny particles suspended in the air. They not only poses serious problems to human health, but also has an effect on weather and climate Change. There are different types of aerosols with varying properties like Sulphate aerosols are capable of modifying the climate not only by reflecting incoming sunlight back to the space (direct effect) but also by indirectly altering the properties of clouds (indirect effect). Main focus of research work based in this book is to bring complex and interconnected role of greenhouse gases and sulphate aerosols on climate change of South Asia focusing Pakistan.
