In the recent year, there has been a significant increase in the reporting of musculoskeletal disorders due to ergonomic hazards. High incidence rate for work related musculoskeletal disorders of the upper extremities have been reported for workers in industries, office work, manufacturing and agriculture which include numerous manual material handling tasks.
