In 1907, at the age of 33, Winston Churchill decided to undertake a trip to East Africa during the autumn holidays. The long journey made him use means of transportation as diverse as steam boat, train, car and even a long way by foot. The trip takes him to visit different cities: Mombasa, Nairobi Embo, Kampala, Munyonyo, Cairo; to live with tribes such as the Kikuyu, Swahilis, Lumbwa, Nandi and Kavirondo; hunt antelopes and rhinos.
