Legal English Reading Lianhong Gao

This textbook is aimed at collecting legal English reading materials for legal translation trainers and trainees to accumulate systematic background knowledge about the English legal system. In order to present a holistic legal discourse, twenty-two topics concerning the legal system were included in the book, which is an attempt to respond to the need for English for Academic Purposes that systematic disciplinary background knowledge is required in order to achieve the academic purpose of English learning, which seems to be an impossible task for language instructors to accomplish.
