The Emerging technologies and research into the science of biomaterials have developed significantly. Many substances or combination of substances, are used as a whole or as a part of a system and can be used for any period of time. The development of bone tissue engineering and bone regenerations also has always been of interest to improve methods. With rapid progress seen in bio materials, it is evidenced the forward direction of the development in bioengineered tissues, the incorporation of growth factors in varying scenarios, and the unique characteristics of 3-D printing of patient specific scaffolds. It has provided us, the facial reconstructive surgeons with a plethora of options for a multitude of varying presentations.
