Libertarian Criminology
Seyyed Amir Abbas Ehterami
Libertarian criminology can be regarded as the forensic and criminological branch of the philosophy of Libertarianism. Such a criminological school vacancy was tangible for decades, since a developed version of Libertarianism has been essential to today's Post-modern world, and this philosophy has long lacked a comprehensive approach to the field of criminology. The following work seeks to present the criminological phase of the Libertarianism, relying on the principles of individualism and egoism. Various theories, such as Natural Deviance, Criminal Equilibrium, Criminal Fantasy Simulation, Political Property Right and linguistic theory of the Judge Language, have been put forward under the Libertarian criminology. Obviously, each of the theories and ideas in question tries to explain and dissect Libertarian's views on topics including nature, causes, control, management and prevention of criminal behavior.
