Maternal Kap Towards Prevention And Management Of Child Diarrhoea

There is the general notion that the KAP of mothers in the urban is superior to that obtain in the rural, this could be from gathered perceptions and observations, but with no scientific validation. This book work on the maternal knowledge, attitudes and practices towards prevention and management of child diarrhoea in urban and rural Maseru, was carried out with the purpose of comparing the KAP of mothers/caregivers in relation to residence (urban and rural). Scientifically extrapolate the gaps, in order to acknowledge and strengthened areas of weakness, for possible intervention specific to the residential group, and rather than adopting "one size fits all" approach. It is hoped that the results and recommendations from this dissertation can be generalised to similar settings in other developing countries and used as a source of knowledge in improving the child's health through the reduction in the morbidity and mortality in relation to diarrhoea.
