How important is magnetism in our health? What is the effect of magnetism on our body? How does terrestrial magnetism act on living beings? It took a long time for science to offer a scientifically correct explanation for what is observed in magnetic materials. Much mysticism and fanciful beliefs have emerged over time, as reports have been widely spread about the mysterious attractive and repulsive properties of magnets. An old question is "what effect does magnetism have on our health?" Or else "are there any beneficial effects of magnets on the human body? Magnetoreception is the ability of a living being to detect a magnetic field. In the animal world, many species orient themselves through the Earth's magnetic field, such as pigeons, turtles, birds and various mammals. Everything indicates that humans also have magnetoreception skills, and it is believed that the human magnetic sensor can still help with visual spatial perception. Magnetotherapy is an alternative medicine practice that uses magnetic fields to promote beneficial health effects. Traditional medicine, however, does not recognize any proven efficacy for the use of magnets in health treatments. The pulsed magnetic field therapy, therefore, emerges with promising prospects in health care treatments. Today, nanoscale magnetism offers innovative possibilities, for example, in the targeted administration of drugs, in neural probes and in new strategies to achieve metastases. The results are promising and the benefits are priceless.
