Maturity does not necessarily have to do with age. Depth does not necessarily have to do with experience. The very gift of expressing your emotions and experiences while confronting your fragility and pain in words, sentences, and phrasing has everything to do with Tuha Adel Rafik. Dive in and allow yourself to be taken in. As soon as the first page has been turned, one will only be eager to read the next.
Uddrag af bogen How do you sleep at night?    I will admit that I got tangled in my feelings. And then you went ahead and hurt me, even though I know you didn’t mean it. There was nothing I could do, but to stand and watch you do what you always do.
How do you sleep at night? Knowing that you have lied to me because you didn’t want to admit that I was right. Ignored me, and doing it on purpose just to have the last word. I will never settle down for someone who leaves me unheard. There will be no new start. So forget about another chance. You obviously have no problem sleeping well at night, even though you know you have disappointed my heart.
Om forfatteren Tuha Adel Rafik was born in Baghdad, Iraq. She grew up in Vestjylland, Denmark. Tuha believes and lives by what she wants, instead of living up to what society and others might expect of her. Throughout her life, she has been characterized by a certain warmth, loyalty, and respect generated by her upbringing by her parents and three older brothers. With a natural dignity she writes from her heart with a distinct and mature sense of sensibility and brave honesty.
