This "Liber Amicorum" is dedicated to the international lawyer, Professor Seidl-Hohenveldern, to celebrate his 80th birthday. The contents of this text reflect the broad activities of the man, both in his academic and in his practical work. The contributions cover the fields of international public law, international private law, international economic law; international human rights law; international environmental law and European law. The contributions from authors from all parts of the world display a spectrum of the current state of the law.
