An otherwise strong-willed criminologist, Aqila Dixit, finds herself ineffectual after meeting an accused murderer, Malay Goyal. She is the only one who could help him but his refusal to cooperate and unnerving gaze not only poses her problems but also brings back some unwelcomed memories from her past. The harder she tries to go away from Malay and his intimidating gaze, the more she finds herself trapped in it. Caught in no-win situation, she decides to go out of the way to find out the truth. That truth which leaves her even more stumped than before.
