About the Book

Mary Lee is a girl from Iraq. Her parents got abducted. Owing to that, Mary Lee and her younger brother are forced to grow up fast and take care of themselves. They move from one refugee camp to another in order to survive. As expected twisted things happen at these refugee camps.

People are killed, clean water run out, friendships are tested and no one can be trusted. However, ordinary people like Mary Lee against all odds make it in life and affect the lives of others positively.
