Handbook for Integrating Poverty Impact in Economic Analysis of Projects Asian Development Bank

Originally intended as a reference to assist the Asian Development Bank's project preparation under the renewed mandate of poverty reduction, this text provides workable recommendations for augmenting the current practice of project economic analysis as well as case studies to illustrate the application of the suggested methodologies. Also discussed are the pro-poor context check for nontargeted projects; approaches to poverty impact analysis for poverty-targeted projects; data requirements; and the advantages and limitations of the analysis.
