Martins' parents died when he needs them most, their death took a part of him that housed feelings and emotions. As a result, he became hard like a diamond and cold like an ice. Jina comes from a poor family background, asthmatic and allergic to cold regions. With no money for proper medical treatment, she resorts to divine treatment. Martins and Jina are classmates, competitors for the highest mark; instead of this making them mad against each other, it made them friends. Martins travels abroad to further his studies, in his absence, a plot against him and Jina is hatched by people supposedly stronger than them. Her desires and dreams centre on this her new found Love! Martins comes home after his studies, things happen a little too fast; their main opposition: Mrs. Wilson dies and they were free to love again.
