There were two young boys, born and raised in the city of Lagos. In a fit of hubris, their strict father shipped them to an upcountry village where they would spend their remaining childhood. Boundless was their joy, this punitive relocation was an escape from severe caning and psychological torture which Jagunlabi their father subjected them to. But little did they know, that they're in for serious hunger and poor education in the new home. In such a place where a little boy no longer hears the blasting horns of motorists, but the coercive bleating of sheep and probably the whinny bicycle of an adventurous farmer on jagged roads, there is a lot to tell.' A Night in the Morning' is now approved by the Lagos State Ministry of education for Senior Secondary schools. It is a beautiful piece for lovers of African stories.
