?A group of seemingly ordinary teenagers from The Gambia are brought together to realize their destiny: to vanquish the evil witch, Shakazarah. From their apparently ordinary school lives; Aisha Ceesay and Babou Kah lead their friends to the mythical cave of Patima, where they find themselves obliged to engage in an epic battle with Shakazarah. Along the way the teenagers are called upon to complete many feats, which they have previously thought impossible. They discover that trying to balance living the normal life of a teenager and having the gift of supernatural powers can be quite daunting yet exciting. Two things bind them together: their determination to defeat Shakazarah, and the knowledge that they are The Last Custodians.?
