In the tradition of Conan. This is a fantasy tale of sword and sorcery. Bruk the barbarian, a youth of only twenty winters young leaves his village in the cold and snow covered Thorstals mountain range to seek adventure and fortune. A mighty sorcerer sends him on a quest to find a magical sword that he is supposed to use to slay a god and save the world. The wizard sends his bodyguard and servant. a non-human tree-man with Bruk to assist him in the epic quest. The magical sword is located in the lost and cursed city of Kondol. This ancient city is located in the lands of the non-humans. It is in the land of the spider-people where people have entered but no one ever returns. Along the way a beautiful warrior woman named Taran joins the quest. Karl a trader and merchant who knows the lands of the non-humans also joins Bruk in his search. Grup, a cat-man joins the band just before they cross the Tail River to enter the lands of the spider-people. This is an epic tale of magic and great adventure.
