We've all done it. You set something down only to spend hours searching for it again. It's not just people this happens to, dogs or cats will lose their toy, a predator loses its prey.
There's that momentary confusion as you struggle to figure out what went wrong.
When you see this happen to a pet, you smile and wonder, "What are they thinking". We jokingly say, "If only they could talk"!
Well, what if?
There's no reason to believe that misplacing something is limited to only this planet. What if an advanced civilization visited earth, stealthy of course so we didn't know, but like us, things got misplaced or lost.
