In Montezuma's Treasure, you find L. K. Petersen waking up staked out on a treestand in the jungles of South America, being feasted on by army ants and dripped on by a sappy tree. The story goes on from here with many marvelous adventures. He meets a group of people in a secluded valley in Peru where he learns of their history and culture. From there he returns to the Maze he discovered in his earlier travels and the adventure continues.
