To join the youngest Capsule Communications Crew, ever, Gunner suppresses his big city sensibilities to bond with Austin Cisneros, an eccentric, home schooled intern; training like true astronauts in an identical capsule programmed to stream live feeds from the capsule in space.
The rocket lifts off on the appointed day and time.
The capsule orbits the Earth according to plan.
