'Cognitive Drama' is a mosaic of complementary and contrasting poetic sentiments. In the mind of a young African man, there are a lot of responsibilities dumped by circumstance. He has two ways of responding: by taking them on or by taking flight. In most cases, the latter is not possible and when you finally come to terms with the former, it might be too late.

This collection of poems is a journey down the mind of a young adult, faced with the brutal realities of life. In the world of 'Cognitive Drama', life stares you in the face and you cannot look away. Life calls you and you have to respond. In responding, put your best foot forward for, in many cases, you have only one chance.

Apart from being a poet, writer, and author, Darlin Tessah pursues a career in Information Technology. He has served in different capacities such as Systems Support Specialist, User Support Specialist, IT Analyst. He attended Achimota Basic School, St. Charles Minor Seminary Senior High school, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. Darlin passionately believes in helping others unearth their potential. To him, this enriches or shared humanity. In this regard, he volunteered with Young at Heart Ghana, an institution that aims to close the technological gap among the youth by inculcating digital literacy skills in them. Darlin also volunteers with Curious Minds Ghana, a nonprofit that seeks to create a fair society for the young in Ghana.
