Dragora, the Monster Goddess Constantine Furman
Dragora, the Monster Goddess
Constantine Furman
Natural disasters on Upent have caused meteorological disturbances all over the planet. On Dragora Island in the southern seas, overdevelopment of the island helps a typhoon dislodge and carry away a gigantic egg buried in the ground. When the egg washes ashore near civilization, an investigative scientist is sent to the lonely island to explore what's going on. Once there, the scientist meets a native girl named Mara who tells of the civilization that once lived on their island and worshipped Dragora, a god-like entity. She reveals that the giant egg that recently appeared is Dragora about to be reborn. She also warns of another being reawakening, a ferocious beast known as Bateriasid. True to her word, Bateriasid-a monstrous nymph-like thing-makes landfall and begins obliterating everything in sight. Unfortunately, giant monster Farmarna has also been revived by the planetary disturbances and has come ashore as well. Before long, the giant egg cracks open and Dragora hatches as a larva, then scuttles off causing havoc in its wake. With three giant, destructive monsters at large at once, the stage is set for the battle for the future of Upent to begin!
