Where Crocodiles Feed
Peet Van Dyk
Paul Vermeer is an ecologist doing research on elephants in Zululand, South Africa. His peaceful life in the wilderness is disrupted when ruthless killers come to the Elephant Coast and the village of St. Lucia. It forces him to come out of his secure bubble and fight for the survival of the elephants and the continued conservation of the area. He soon discovers that everything is not what it seems to be. When Michelle Bergh shows up in town she challenges Vermeer's view about the killings. Her investigations reveal old secrets and conflicts and shed new light on the possible reasons for the killings. While Vermeer and Bergh struggle to solve the mystery, they become the targets of an international organisation that would stop at nothing to reach their objectives.
