Carl Heinrich Bloch's painting, "An angel comforting Jesus before his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane", becomes the pretext for the author to present the protagonist of his novel, the angel Sympònia. The narration of the celestial creature will reveal small and large unpublished details of the life of the holy family of Nazareth not mentioned in the canonical Gospels. Always flowing and pleasant, fresh and at times suggestive, this short novel is not only a pleasant pastime, but also an excellent tool to deepen one's Christian faith.
