Modes of the Mind From Human to Divine Shirley Lee Johnson

My poetry should cause you to utilize two modes of the mind or ways of thinking. It should touch your reasoning ability and or your imagination. You should think from a logical perspective, yeah, this makes sense and at, other times, realize that I was just being creative with the poem's design. My poems should evoke an awareness of God in you, our Abba Father, as you read them, especially the ones from everyday occurrences in our lives. Some may just be me on my soapbox, and others may be by inspiration. But you should be able to sense God's hands somewhere in each. I pray that you find much joy, comfort, encouragement and enlightenment as you partake of the goodness that has been given to me.
