Samuel's Gift Vicki Faden Millar

Samuel, a young orphan lives in the small town of Bethlehem. He is taken in by a kind innkeeper and his wife. He is given his own special place in the inn's stable, and helps care for the animals there. Samuel also helps inside the inn, where he hears many of the guests' conversations. Some guests talk about their hope for a Messiah. One evening when a man and his young wife appear at the inn, and there is no room, Samuel offers a humble gift.
