Agnes is a sea serpent and Eric is a dragon so they knew they would have their hands full when their 2 children were born. What they didn't expect is that a ruthless big-game-hunter would try to capture their little girl Sammy. Would they be able to rescue her before a group of unscrupulous men, with dreams of becoming rich and famous, put her on display somewhere in the outside world? If they were successful in capturing Sammy, who would they try to capture next? Did they even know about the other unique creatures that were also living on the island? Sammy and her family had become friends with a research team who were staying on the other side of the island, but would their new friends help rescue Sammy? The scientists were there looking for a rare plant with healing properties, but did the plant actually exist on the island? If it did, would it be able to save a young girl suffering from a rare blood disorder?
