The story begins with the main character Carrie who is living in a busy town, in a shared student's accommodation with her best college friend, but never revealed a hidden secret about herself. The girls were planning their Senior Prom Celebrations and out of the blue, Carrie is contacted by her sister, who is in distress and must leave to try and help her sister. The story revolves around their cruel and dangerous and manipulative father. Carrie's sister is kidnapped. Carrie must find a way to rescue her. Unintentionally, her close friends are being dragged in ... and the secret Carrie carried with her for years, is now being revealed. A secret, that brings everyone involved, down into the unheard-of regions of this planet Earth, deep inside into Inner Earth. Having been kidnapped as well, her friends find a way to help escape the clutches of their father Carl, and soon after these events begin to happen. The race is on, always having to be two steps ahead of her father, Carrie is smart, smarter than her father gives her credit for. From the time she received the SOS call from her sister, Carrie leaves a clue in the shape of a letter which she hopes her friend will discover once she doesn't turn up for their celebration. Inside the letter Carrie is telling her friend Gerry of her possible kidnap and a device, which Gerry is to use to track her and the race is on to get to Carrie.
